در نقاشی‌های شهروز صدر، اغلب لایه‌های رنگی کل سطح را پر می‌کنند و آن‌چه را که در زیر است می‌پوشانند. او اصراری ندارد که با اتفاق‌های تکنیکی بیان نقاشانه خود را به اجرا درآورد، بلکه با وسواس هرچه تمام‌تر سعی در به نمایش درآوردن پیش‌طرح‌های دیجیتال کار خود و حفظ خصوصیت طراحی‌اش دارد؛ روشی که از ویژگی‌های کار او محسوب می‌شود. نمایشگاه اخیر او در گالری ایرانشهر با عنوان «آخ» شامل سه تابلو رنگ روغن روی بوم در ابعاد بزرگ با خاکستری رنگ‌های درخشان است. کار او همان چیزی است که با توجه به امکانات زمان در قالب نقاشی پیاده می‌شود؛ نه قدیمی است و نه نوستالژیک و دقیقا روایت همان چیزی است که به عرصه نمایش درمی‌آید. اگر بخواهیم در محدوده هنر نقاشی ایرانی کار او را بررسی کنیم، او از الگوهای هویتی که یک سری از هنرمندان فعال در عرصه تجسمی در آثارشان پیروی می‌کنند استفاده نمی‌کند، بلکه زبان تصویری او صریح و صادقانه است؛ مانند ثبت يادداشت‌هاى روزانه كه شوخ‌طبعى فراوانی را به همراه دارد.

His work is what is implemented in the form of painting according to the possibilities of time; It is neither old nor nostalgic, and the narrative is precisely what comes to the show. We want to examine his work within the scope of Iranian painting. In that case, he does not use the identity patterns that a series of artists active in the visual field follow in their works, but his visual language is frank, Like recording daily notes, which brings a lot of humour.
